Merry christmas

Christmas has become a season of excess. Nevertheless, Our family has a unique way of celebrating this special ocassion.

-Oven roasting a whole Turkey and serving it the un-traditional chinese way
-baking un-edible christmas butter cookies...and decorating them with sloppy icing to salvage our efforts from going to waste
-un-inviting then inviting christmas carollers to our home
-receiving lots of christmas hampers and food gifts from other people. And then redistributing it to others.
-competing with the crowds on christmas day without booking a movie/restaurant beforehand

I recently dressed up as Virgin Mary at a friend's christmas-themes costume party coz I wanted to challenge the festivity and hype around this traditional occasion. Hehe :)

Have a blessed Merry christmas!
